LA Memorial Coliseum Scoreboard

Kurt Fischer was senior project engineer at Nabih Youssef Associates for the design and construction phases of this project. The new score board and speakers is located at West end of the existing Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The new scoreboard is approximately 150’ long by 40 ft tall spanning from two large steel tube columns supported on new large spread footings. At the highest point from outside the stadium the scoreboard is approximately 126 feet tall. The scoreboard is braced back to the coliseum at approximately 52’ above grade.
