Exposition Metro Light Rail - Division 14
Kurt Fischer was a project manager at Nabih Youssef Associates for the design phase of this project. The project is the new maintenance facility for the expo line light rail vehicles. Plans call for six storage tracks for three-car train sets, maintenance/repair shop/administration building, a blow-down/wheel truing facility, a run-through wash plant, a double-track cleaning platform, and a traction power substation. The buildings will be constructed of a combination of steel moment and brace frames. The site it’s targeting LEED-NC Gold certification and net-zero energy status.
