Full code seismic upgrade and renovation of historic 4-story unreinforced masonry (URM) building in downtown Los Angeles. Retrofit design utilizes strategically located shotcrete shear walls and concrete moment frames to preserve the historic exterior facade and re-open windows that were infilled in a prior renovation.
