BIM Revit Coordinator – Los Angeles, CA
Seeking a talented and experienced Revit/BIM Modeler to join our expanding Los Angeles office. Employee will assist in the technical delivery of structural engineering documents with close collaboration with other disciplines. The employee will help assist in the collaboration process with local building jurisdictions for the purpose of obtaining building permits. Oversight and mentoring will be provided by management for the purpose of bringing the employee into a future management position overseeing modeling department.
Qualifications
3+ years of Revit Structure experience.
Working experience in structural engineering on similar projects as listed in firm summary.
High School diploma (or equivalent). Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree prefered.
Solid knowledge of structural systems and structural detailing.
Basic knowledge of other building systems and components.
The applicant will need to have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal, written and decision making skills within the tasks of executing assignments for Kurt Fischer Structural Engineering.
Knowledge of Dynamo for Revit a plus.
Job Requirements
Manage construction document preparation in Revit Structure.
Build Structural Revit models through coordination with KFSE engineers using backgrounds from Architect.
Draw structural details in Revit.
Check for conflicts between the structure and elements defined by other members of the design team.
Develop custom KFSE Revit Structure Families.
Delegate tasks to other BIM modelers.
Compensation
Salary will be based on experience and education.
